Fairly you will fare

23 Dec

On a Monday morning,
After having a bath,
Across the street,
I chose a path…

A path to destiny,
With a hope teeny tiny,
I chuckled a bit,
And trusted my wit…

My wit to answer,
Life’s toughest questions,
Sniffing the air,
I thought,
Is life really unfair?

Unfair is the promise,
We make and break,
Unfair is repeating,
That ‘silly mistake…

Unfair is denying,
A wish of a child,
His sober, subtle mind,
His dream, oh-so mild…

Unfair is what happens,
To a bee after it stings,
Unfair is not to answer,
A phone when it rings… 😉

Unfair is the scorching heat of the sun,
Unfair are the efforts, one needs for the long run,
Unfair is the desire of a small bird, to fly,
In this vast, blue blanket of the sky…

Fair it turns to have sunlight,
When in darkness and despair…

Fair it turns to enjoy the victorious joy n fun,
After that long run…

Fair is the end,
Probably the beginning, unfair!
Keep this in mind,
And in life,
Fairly you will fare…
