I got the Blue from the rain,
Blessed by the Orange of that sober, setting Sun.
Sneaking Violet out,
Holding it’s hand, I run,
I run before they cage me,
Stealing the Indigo.
I fly before they smell a hint,
I fly, before they know.
On my flight, there,
I grabbed some sunshine, in a jar,
And took the Yellow from that glow.
Stealing the Red from that rose,
I sway her smooth, hold her close.
Hushing the fields,
From Nature, I ask for Green.

Dance aloud now, my love,
I’ve painted the stage –
Mother Earth is yours,
And also, the Rainbow above.
